As each day passes, as I age, my thoughts and ways reveal A changing in my attitude, a change in how I feel The years have brought me challenges; they’ve tested me each day I’ve now some answers that I seek, as luck to come my way We’re lucky just to have one friend who’s true and tells the truth Blessed to have a loving spouse who’s loved us since our youth Lucky to be in a job, which gives our future hope Blessed to have a dreamer’s mind and thoughts to just elope It’s hard to change the daily chores, to change what fate has dealt It’s hard to change the way you live, to speak of thoughts you’ve felt But good to simply have a dream, to wish upon a star Good to live in freedom’s home, to be just who we are For dreaming, it is normal, for fame for wealth and more But money brings not happiness to knock upon ones door And though we think that grasses are sweeter by the way I look now on all that I have and get on with my day For things could be much grimmer, as many others see Living in a land of hate, is not as it should be So today I will start smiling for all the things I’ve got Dreaming still of many things, but whinging now, I’m not But each day I still question, for that is life. ??????? |

Good one Rick. I think we all ask the same questions as we get older and mello out a little. Sometimes the answer takes years to find, but the quest is a fun adventure. Death comes not when we cease to breathe, but when we cease to dream. |

For dreaming, it is normal, for fame for wealth and more But money brings not happiness to knock upon ones door And though we think that grasses are sweeter by the way I look now on all that I have and get on with my day For things could be much grimmer, as many others see Living in a land of hate, is not as it should be So today I will start smiling for all the things I’ve got Dreaming still of many things, but whinging now, I’m not ![]() Sincerely, Regina |
