Would you lay with me in the fields of gold, As the warm breeze kissed our hair? Would you wrap me in your arms and hold, til the sun was no longer there? Would you comfort me while storm clouds rolled, through days of ice and snow? Would you gladly watch each season unfold through happy times and woe? Would you kiss me as the night grew cold, while the time passed slowly by? Would you Love me till we both grew old with a Love too strong to die? Poetry is an expression of feelings. I do not write poems, but rather, the poems use me to write themselves. |
