I need to make this bigger

I need to make this bigger,
this feeling that
I hold
one that will take you in
I’d give to you
this gold

I need to somehow
amplify this
feeling so unreal,
for it is very magical
and it’s swirl
is beauty’s feel

it has a firm, tenacious hold
but still soft in
touch, and smooth
it holds me ever warmly
while it sounds so much
like truth

it has a bit of sing-song
that makes me want
to dance
and one would almost
think, that it hinged
upon romance

well perhaps it does,
this feeling, but a
universal love
is more of what this
feeling is, carried by
wings of dove

then I would have it soar
to you, to multiply
good cheer,
to take away the dark
from you, chase
away your fear

yes, I need to make this bigger
this feeling that
is gold
and send to you on silver
wings, a gift of
hugs to hold
