Doorway to My Soul

You have a measure of me,
Only because I granted you a key,
Doorway to my soul,
A gift of knowing you set me free.

You gave a treasure with glee,
Together we planted a hope-filled tree,
Doorway to my soul,
You, and I, and a dear friend makes three.

I crave the pleasure of we,
Spoken words enchant to highest degree,
Doorway to my soul,
A simmered delightful potpourri.
