i wake up still dreaming

tomorrow i will have to wake up [a work of force]
and go about the business of trying
[i dislike doing that]
more, though...i dislike sitting in class
when there is nothing in it for me
when i am all that i will ever contain
[so my soul tells me in solace]
and am content in that

tonight, perhaps, i will dream
of a world where there is no tomorrow
and i am not asked to bow down
to the promise of world that will never live up

sometimes i wake up still dreaming
and can't remember what i said before...

Hi, you know, I always felt like that about school, and work, and daily life. It sometimes seems like such a waste of writing time.

I just don't want to wake up at all.....I would rather be living my fantasy than open my eyes to reality. *giggling* now why does saying that make me feel so strange? Great writing.

(sigh) I know just what you mean, the real world can be so touch sometimes, though I always keep the spirit of youth in me, and love to dream the day away of all my fantasies! (sigh) Wonderful thoughts, dearest friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Christie, thank you for sharing!
