MOURNING

The silent sounds of the nights mystery
filling the darkest depths of earth and wood
slowly disperse into nights history,
awakening the daylight as it should.
As time adjusts to the newborn mourning
nocturnal shadows escape from the light.
Desperately holding ground in warning,
not for loss but to give into the night.
Through the murkiness of its surroundings
the day struggles as it tries to break free.
A babbling brook becomes lifes boundings,
a feeding vein for all to share and be.
Life allowed to eternally spring forth
'til night retakes the east and stars shine north.

*sigh* a sonnet that weaves a gentle spell around me making me long for a night filled with this kind of beauty. As morning wakes the night rests to awaken again come the velvet blanket of darkness. *sigh* this one deserves a kiss for sure.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Love your poem   Nature has a way of knowing exactly what to do and when, great capturing of it's essence.
