Pale Moon

by Michael

Pale, ivory moon,
you teasingly rise.
Ascend the sky and bloom.
Pour healing to these eyes.

This limping spirit roams the night
and often shouts that it be heard,
but evening is deaf.
It hears no word.

Dew is that of teardrops,
wept when none could see.
I stumble through the sodden grass
in hopes that I’ll find me.

Michael, I like this, and by the way, that thing you stumbled over, that was me, I already landed on the ground. While we are here, lets have some fun

You are that lovely man looking at the moon and making poetry in your head...easy to find.  Hugs!

Michael, as always dear sweet man, your words touch me once again.  Wonderful write.
