My Tender Side
By Larry Chadwick

You rarely see my tender side,
And know little of the times I’ve cried.
I suppose that it is safer this way,
Pretending that life is nothing but play.

But on that occasion when I let it out,
There’s very little room for doubt.
You teach it’s important to live life tenderly,
Because then you can love absolutely all of me.

Sin isn't fair, but God got even, grace isn't fair either.  larry c

Larry,

My Dad is one of those people like yourself that rarely let people see their sensitive side. But like you are I'm sure, my Dad is just a big ole teddybear.

RosePetal,
Thanks a bunch! It's nite owls you know, that give a hoot. LOL

Cindi,
That side gets easier to find with age. LOL And yes, you really do.

Dawn,
Actually, that was my experience in my teens and part of my twenties.  You should see me at a chick flick...a blubbering idiot! LOL Thanks, by the way.

Oh you cuddly sweet teddy bear!

See? No ghost tonight, so you'll be able to sleep tight.

Ah, I think everyone has a tender side don't they? And it's always so much nicer than the rough, tough interior that we display to the world.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

This is a wonderful poem to express your tender side *smiling* but then I had no doubt that you are tender through and through. Well done. **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
