This Day Dawned Early These are the morning hours and we're recent off the phone; we never guessed our first call would last four hours long. And brave you were to call me, and braver still to stay; your magic down the phone line held me captive all the way. And I have seen your picture, and I have heard your voice; it feels so right so near you like there is no other choice. How giddy are the butterflies still floating in my gut; How can I expect to sleep when I'm wounded-up so much? Here's the dawning of tomorrow when we wish to share a space on a parkbench by the river to see each other face to face. And I'm more nervous than Ferdinand, the bull, in a china shop; could one wrong word, wrong action bring this whole thing to a stop? [This message has been edited by Topheth (edited 09-23-2001).] |

*sigh* The feather touch of a new friendship...and anything else developing. Its wonderful as you describe it here. Nice question at the end. Sometimes the heart needs the solace of solitude and silence. |
