I Scored with Nancy too!

I found a beautiful blonde,
With a bright smile.
Well worth pursuing,
Even if it took awhile.

It was another six weeks,
Before I found her again.
And if I was lucky,
She’d be my friend.

It was at the dental office,
She was employed.
I was excited,
My spirits buoyed.

I knew right then,
What I had to do.
Time for the Dentist,
See what he knew.

Appointment all set,
Too late to back down.
Off to the store,
Right across town.

Scores by the box,
Because they’re sweet.
The tool I would use,
This lady to meet.

Up to the counter,
Where I checked in.
Hoping my plan,
Wouldn’t be a sin.

A candy bar a piece,
For you and you and you.
And one for Nancy,
I want to Score with her too.
Part of the tale of how I met my wife.
