I read a poem by Nightshade called "...time will..." and it kept playing on my mind ... and so this piece was written

Blinding Trust
from a
Scattered Dust
~~~

External crust
of blinding trust
withdraws
from span deployed
Edges
curled
its smoke
unfurled
unleashed
but not destroyed
~
Prediction gleams
within our dreams
withdrawn
deploys our fears
Sobered
fooled
with emotions
ruled
then stripped
by the strength of tears
~
Wisdom draws
from unending flaws
utilized
to the wound we're sealing
Shrinking
scars
in effect
requires
adding worth
to the course of healing
~~~
