Vanilla scented atmosphere
so sweetly warming, without fear
the candles glow and incense burns
fulfillment of my stongest yearn.

Long awaited vanilla kiss
holding the key to all I miss
opens the doors which set us free
But I'm the only one who sees.

Vanilla dreams turn misty blue
as I am torn away from you
our day will come, I swear it will
vanilla candles burn until.

I believe this is heaven to no one else but me, and I will defend it as long as I'm left here to linger in silence...Sara McLachlan

I see you writing forever into your heart or a start to writing slowly out of your heart
Either way I feel the emotion within ... I see the joy and the sorrow

"Vanilla scents
candles glow
the key you seek
lets your dreams flow"

Determination is the least I see,
but undying love ... sets this free.
This leaves a good taste on my lips,
a pleasure to read.

Advantages of Vanilla...

A t morning's break, in myst-like fog
D reams lost unto the real now borne
V isions dancing, harvesting scenes
A cross ocean of words, canvassed
N akedthoughts doth embrace, enchant
T ouch silent, cloak, scent images
A float in mind of time, of want
G roans of desire spilling over
E dges, rising to meet the dark
S culpting ever so strangely as

o ften times you would appear,
f orbidden, yet grand in stature

V oicing, thy sweetness of words, once
A mid seductive spell, to grace
N ight visions of dark catching flight
I n thine eyes, a touch, pale caress
L ingering, upon lips, passions
L onging, lasting well into nights
A cross indigo darkness comes

the advantages of vanilla...

Cat...reminded me of this one I wrote awhile  back..I use vanilla scents all the time, bubbles, creams..shampoo and candles..my favorite scent

Perfect imagery there.
Great write Sandra. I really like this. Your trip has certainly inspired some great poetry
