Come dance with me into the dawn Twirl me as the band plays on With the fairies we shall play Together greet the light of day Pick daisies to string through our hair Enchanted garden, lovers lair I’ll be the queen and you the king We’ll listen as the angels sing Fly with me across this land We’ll set down on the clear white sand Splashing through the sea of blue I give this dream from me to you I see a castle on the beach A fairy tale that’s just in reach Take my hand, I’ll lead you there To promises and dreams to share Come dance with me and hold me tight Kiss me by dawns early light Hold me, watch the break of day In dreamland…..would you like to stay |

WR, thanks, glad you liked it JM, there's nothing like a good dream. Back to bed with you to dream some more!! Jon, thank you Kit, after enjoying so many of yours, I'm glad you enjoyed this piece. If I'm ever half as good at telling a story as you are, I will be happy SmartChick, thank you Startime, glad you got lost in it. I did too Arthur, you have an enchanted castle too? Does the MG have a wing there? I love the PS. I already have a gown of green, maybe one day my knight will come and the picture will be complete Melissa, I'm honoured if you're saving this one. My fantasy world is proud Cpalmer, thank you. Some fairytales do come true, if not, I always have this one in my mind Sandra, yes, co-operation helps a lot. I haven't found it yet. That's why this is still my dreamland. Now if I could ever title this Real-land LOL (Hell, I'd bottle it and sell it if it was real-land!!!)Duncan, ah, but I am woman, and it is a ladies perogative to change her mind!!! I will be looking out for your response. You never fail to amaze me with your words, they are indeed beautiful, and never clumsy (though I've known women who send pretty clumsy e-mails)  Dawn, thank you. There's no Bah Humbug in this world. Dreams of your own though dreams not alone fingers softly entwined dance in your mind which is more beautiful the dream or the dreamer i believe it is a tie Ok, not one of my better efforts but these cold pills are messing with my head. (And not in a good way--haha) |
