Arriving back into her realm
The only thing bright in her den
Was the now familiar Bells of Ireland.
She closed the door with a hip toss

Sitting in momentary bewilderment
Her admirer no secret..just illusory?
Fiddling the card with magician fingers
It was real...Was she real? What is real?

She tasted an uneasy invasion
of her home..her life..her familiarity
She had drawn the curtains years ago
Choosing pen in her private pillory

Not a phone call, a friendly outing.
Her nights shadowed by the company
of a single candlelit flame...her own.
Music.. her only channel to another voice

She began her story of Lugh..in loneliness
Simply from intrigue of mythology’s charm.
Her only other nesting place of comfort
Was within the Library’s whisper of old books

She began to cry..Achingly missing
her mother.. Her vine..Her vibrant
Shine of scented lavender..Seeping through
Like the stain of spirits..Unbearably

She flung herself about the room in Madness!
Grabbing the tiebacks and stripping velvet
from the heavily guarded window panes.
Burning in the light rays, surrendering

Room to room she bloomed in glory’s plight
Drapes landing in tattered piles
Floor to ceiling they opened in Topaz
Streaking the hardwood floors in rapture

She wailed and screamed and brandished
a dance across the sunbeams flash
As if it were water falling into her
striking her with renewal, anointing

She was “Singing in the rain” of sunshine
Leaping up into the window seat and pressing
her body to naked glass. She palmed it.
Introducing herself to the world...Her Lugh.

Regina, this series is simply "unreal" and I can't believe I am first as she introduced Lugh to the world through your eyes.  Magnificant!

Try giving your smile to someone who does not have one, and I bet you'll find another ~*~ Mysteria ~*~

Regina, you have given life to "Bronte." Your words reach out, giving detail and sight into her world. Engaging work, full of reward.

very cool series here poetess R...
the saga continues ... (yes..keep em coming)
Its like being in the book of the month club and getting new poetry books

This distance has shown how the road remains alone
Now I'm looking in my life ... for a truth that is my own.

This is better than any book [forgive me, JanetMarie] as there is that feel of real...how many of us, man OR woman, has not ached thus?

Her reach for the light is spectacular....and I will continue to watch her growth, for it is time, then, that she produce her own vine...

thank you for this, Regina...you do Passions proud!
