Needing distraction
from you
I try to write
but then there
you are
Standing in a corner
of my mind
alone and sad
So I write about you
How you made me feel
how you make me feel
Silently
taking
all my feelings
and bringing them
uptodate
Picturing
us kissing
my love
Slowly
in tears
missing you
Knowing
we can't be together
because we loved
passionately
because we hated
passionately

A great view of inner- turmoil, passion has that bite. It seems that which we run from the most is always within our sight.
The first thought is can the love withstand hatreds might. Or is the real love the love of constant fight.

A good read and honest heart ..., my thoughts are with you.

(sigh) A wonderful poem about the pleasurable and painful sides of passion! (big hugggssssss) To nurture passion and understand it is what makes the love real. (sigh) Your golden heart shines with true pure love, dearest walker! You have such a beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

The opposite side of a coin...is exactly that.  Good one, walker.

Wow, that last part really comes out and whacks the reader. Totally unexpected. Sad thoughts, but written well

walker - oh yes, passion's many faces. How well I understand this poem. Very well said, Chris
