I’ve seen you with no partner and yet dancing all night long
With hands in leather pockets that are my favorite song
Slung down hips and cherry lips with impulsive flirting eyes
I swore if they would fall to me I’d drop this old disguise

With much deliberation you will leave me to my whiles
For you’re the kind of woman that has no time for child
Would I tell you pretty things and maybe not deliver?
I don’t think that you are cold you just make want to shiver

Your blouse has straps so slight, left bare your slender shoulders
In my thoughts I pull out words kept neat in aging folders
Every poem that I review, once written when so alone
They come to life, that they’re for you, and how I’ve always known

Psst... that rollercoaster ride in your pic that you show here looks like a total blast but I must confess I've never raised my hands off the bar device but hey there's always a first time 4everything I always say so maybe next time I'll get the courage to embark on the coaster thrill and raise my hands up and shriek out a few yuhhhoooo's
