A Moment’s Breath Of bliss and sorrow, this I know That both can penetrate and flow In equal measure of unrest Like stinging lightening through my chest A moment's breath of reminisce Can launch from memories of a kiss Sweet spear of sorrow piercing me With burning pain and ecstasy But what remains in all above Is love, and joy in having loved Elizabeth Santos |
