A Moment’s Breath

Of bliss and sorrow, this I know
That both can penetrate and flow
In equal measure of unrest
Like stinging lightening through my chest

A moment's breath of reminisce
Can launch from memories of a kiss
Sweet spear of sorrow piercing me
With burning pain and ecstasy

But what remains in all above
Is love, and joy in having loved

Yes, when we lose a loved one we have and will always have the joy of knowing that they loved us and that is what gives us our words....at times when we feel we have none.Very moving.

Thank you for all the very kind comments. I suppose others have felt the same deep breath you take as soon as a song comes on that reminds you of the past. THat flashing moment when a tear falls down across your smile.
THanks
