If you could only
see
what is concealed
beneath
these tears
that trickle
endlessly
in thoughts
of yesterdays...

If you could only
understand
the reason why
each tear is cried
then you would
surely come to know
the smouldering ache
of letting go...

If you could only
taste
the salty resin trace
of tears
that stream
from eyes of green
in search to find
tranquility...

If you could only
touch
the depth of bondage held
beyond these tears
I cry
all shadowed by
deceit and lies
a memory you have
left behind...

Though all I can
seem to do
these restless nights
without you
is wish upon
the heavenly stars
to mend the scars
of which I hide...

And with this final tear
perhaps an angel
shall indeed hear
my distant plea
to be released
from this turmoil
that seems to never cease...

The early dawn awaken's me
to find these
tears are gone
from here
and there upon lace
of pillow slip
resides a tear
not known to me
like petals of
fragrant flowers in bloom
a delicate form
a scent so pure...

And as I rise
to face a new day
unveiled to me
quite surprisingly
is the warmth of glow
from an embracing sun
that comforts me
to trust and love again...

My heart goes out to you as your tears fall. I hope they become healing tears that sooth the heart and soul. A magnificent poem that touched my heart. It is so good to see you once again, dear one.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Such sweet sorrow fills your tears, dearest Coco! (wipes tears) My heart is with you, and I believe tears do have such dear tranquilty in them like whispers of an angel, to heal us of all our burdens then help us to approach a brand new day and healing lies! (big hugggssssssss) My heart is with you, dearest friend, and we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

SweetPoet friends, you truly are the best but I gotta say if it weren't for Interloper who wrote a poem that touched upon some thoughts & feelings of mine from once upon a time this would never have surfaced...

So, I took the leap and shared them with you here as best I could and I struggled with the ending as I just could not bring myself to allow sadness to rule what tomorrow's joy may bring to us, so that's kinda why this read a wee bit longer than it should have...

Hugs2u13DearFriends of mine and I thank you very much for your kind words and friendship you share with me!

This is indeed a very lovely write. You pen these feelings so well. We have all felt them, but you express them beautifully

Well now.......I would say that this is definietly one of your best and not only is the poem beautiful in content, but the structure is equally pleasing as well.  You have done yourself proud as well as Interloper (for inspiring this one).  Beautiful read and one for my library sweet poetess.

I have found in you ... a reflection of me ...
and a path to the peace I have sought.

this is probably one of the
most touching pieces of poetry
Ive ever read. your words just stuck
with me, as i read the next verse.
your flow here is brilliant, the emotions
just beautiful. you truly have such
a loving heart and soul. take care
