Secretly in Love

One touch from her
and desire blurs my vision,
my judgment.
Breathing becomes shallow,
panting,
heart racing to be set free.

She and I are secretly in love.
So secretly,
that even we don’t whisper the words,
but I know, as does she.

Each embrace is an eternity
as her heart beats against my own,
as I taste her breath,
as my fingertips long to explore
her womanly places.

Looking into her eyes,
I can see all that she feels,
wants,
craves.

Passion blushes her cheeks,
as she longs to know a deeper kiss,
to know each other more intimately,
but we cannot,
for some things must always

remain...

a secret.

Secret loves bring out some of the best poetry. I hope that secret lasts for a long time.

I am old enough to remember a song called, Secret Love...one of my favorites when I was a teenager and had many secrets. Loved this!
