![]() Pumpkin Pickin'Time! ~*~ There’s a slight chill in the morning air down by Cranberry Creek. Autumn flushed trees rustle in the breeze and golden apples spill from ripened trees as whispers mingled with laughter drift through an open window. Crickets lie low, and birds begin to sing as the rustling noise of my eager little sweetpea wakens our quiet garden. It’s harvest time, and the pickin’ is fine, now, if only mama can find the time! I love harvest time. Pumpkin patches, autumn leaves on the ground, and crisp apples baked into a pie. YUM! Just like this poem. And what a beautiful child! |
