Ladle emotions
Fill the bowl you are holding,
Sup on hearty stews

Sip from spoon’s small pool,
Taste the salty broth cooling
From your breath’s warm wind.

Empty it all gone,
Allow me to ladle more,
Till hunger leaves you.

Gloom

Thank you, Decaflame,
You are welcome anytime,
There’s always something in the Cauldron.

Thank you, Enchantress,
Some things are ever full,
Let me ladle you some more:

Carrots and onions,
Celery and spices brew,
Served with fresh baked bread,

If you are not done,
A simmer kept on the stew,
Sharing till you fill.

Thank you, Nightshade,
All are welcome, pull up a chair
The cauldron has plenty there

Thank you, 1slick_helen,
Did you remember to bring your spoon,
Or would you like to borrow mine?

Gloom

emotion fills me
not by spoonful but by stream
building to river

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
