Words Aren't Enough

Oh lady,
dream of mine,
breath of wind upon my cheek,
stardust swirling before my eyes.
heaven opened up to me…
to say I love you would be a lie,
loves not enough for what leaps
from my heart
love doesn't say
what only souls can hear,
nor does it touch the depths
of my passions for you,
and try as I might,
I am but a man,
but lady, oh lady,
such things I long to say,
and show to you.

And you say that your words are nought???
I think not Jwesley!  This is so very beautiful and I thank you as I am sure many other of the fine lady poets here will agree with me!!

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

*sigh* oh yes, this star has been touched by these beautiful words as well. Romance seems to flow strongly from your pen and it is a pleasure to read the results. This poem deserves a kiss or two.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Basking am I in the knowledge that such treasured souls approve...and humbled am I that they seem to approve of me.

You've made my day...ladies of Passions, when , indeed, it needed making.
