Fisherman's Dream

Gentle waters trickle
over rocks with soothing ease
Slowly moving onward
so clear and sparkling
He steps onto the water's edge
casting methodically
Stillness interupted, whipping
breaking the patterned stream
Every movement complete with grace
accomplishing every task
He hears the rippling waters flow
almost melodic with his act
Peace and harmony all in one
nature and man come clean
Fulfilling the very passion of
only a fisherman's dream

(smiles) I love to go fishing with my grandpa every time I visit him in Missouri; I love my grandpa so very much and every time we go, we will talk for hours about God and love and nature and how the weather is. (big hugggssssss) Peace and serenity is the joy of a true fisherman! (big hugggsssssss) Beautiful, sweet friend, I love it!!! You have such a beautiful heart, dearest friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Cindi,
I've been there.  But with far less skill than you or the fisherman.  All my senses felt that experience again, thanks to you.  Great job!

I remember I used to go fishing with my dad when I was a little girl. I used to get so impatient waiting to catch a fish lol. my dad was into fishing and then I stopped going with him because I got bored of it.
Thanks for bringing back the memory : )

Cindi~
Well ... just add this FisherWOman to those dreams~

Not much that compares to the action of fishing (if they're biting)
or the serenity of it (if they're not)~

Right up my river with this one~

Marge,
fishing can be lots of fun...when they are biting...I guess I should like serenity of it when they are not, but sometimes I just can't get past the bugs (UGH!!) Oh well! I'm glad you like this!

Ahhh Cindi, fishing. I was just doing that for the past two days, on trout, in a pond, we don't have that kind of beautiful running streams overhere.

Great poem

What a serene picture you paint with your pen. I only know one fisherman, my brother, and he's nothing like this. He's loud and boisterous and I think he scares the fish away, cause he never seems to catch anything!!!

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

cpalmer,
I used to go fishing with my Dad as well. I miss it a lot and hope to find someone to go fishing with again sometime. Dad no longer enjoys fishing.
