Who Knew? sooner than one’s insight might perceive in the calm down when one hunkers over in brown study multihued moments explode concepts breed notionary magnets pulling like lead pellets toward schisms fragmented assembling rainbows as the greenhorn squats on a decaying stump, plucking at blue-eyed grass while red deer twitch away bluebottles black squirrels red-bait yellow dogs sniffing greenbrier for signature lines of whitetail stag can you weave cornucopia completely before blue penciling begins? Who knew that redbuds purpled in spring’s wakening, reddling occurs across eyelids squinting when smiles face bursts of gold overhead go ahead, quick look at the sun and don’t smile… can’t be done… who knew? that even without rain one can be bowed over in brown study |
