The Douser The douser rod turned down and black Quivering at the deepest dwell A heart within a cul-de-sac A heart just on the edge of hell It frames the message plain to hear Do not bemoan the ground is stone. It rumbles out the message clear In sounds that shocks you to the bone You cannot douse a heart with blank Nor think to use it in betray It shrivels up and turns to rank And settles deep beyond some day. It digs a nest of pain and cry To deep within a hollow chest Its wings have rot and cannot fly It’s out of fluid fuel of zest Be careful when you douse for love It is a very gentle dove. |

Waterwitching is an art which when done carefully can capture even a heart I know, it captured me Take good care of what you do when witching for the best for it might come back to you and be a lifelong test... You always inspire, our Sy...and I wait in the mornings just to read you! |

Rwood, Divining the divinity of Love lies with the fisherman. And I'm sure you know what I mean. |

Ah that elusive gift of love that we all seek but once we have take for granted and then wonder why it does not stay strong and pure. *sigh* this poem teaches us to treat love gently for its value is beyond compare and when treated as it should be it grows in ways that fill our dreams with reality. This poem is wonderful. I love its message and how it made me look at love. BRAVO!!! Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

JM, So glad your puter is working again. So I can read your home spun zen. Paint your wings the prettiest shade And we will tea in fantasies glade. Winkiewinkie Randy Stinky |

this is a wonderful poem! It depicts the fragility of love, though when treated and cared for well, endures with a strength that lasts until eternity...I enjoyed reading this alot.. God bless and best wishes.. ~Ann~ |

The tenderness of your words shows in the gentle touch of your pen. Well written and I might add that your cadence is as superb as always. Congrats on a wonderful piece. |
