(It was nice knowing all of you; I guess no one cares about me anymore here. I wish you all love and light)

Jaded
By: Noah Eaton
10/17/01

It is cold outside, I walk on the field alone
Like the last one to leave from an evening amusement park
I can't seem to dream anymore, and so I might as well be lonely
And I can't help but shiver
When the wind chill comes in
And makes me quiver...

Help me stand up straight
I feel jaded, I must be hopeless
It's getting late
I can't help but cry over this so often
Will I ever be helped, I need this...

Seems that the days are going by much faster
And all the leaves are falling from the trees, dreams growing stale
Sunsets don't seem as uplifting as they used to
And I can't help but shiver
When the wind chill comes in
And makes me quiver...

Help me stand up straight
I feel jaded, I must be hopeless
It's getting late
I can't help but cry over this so often
Will I ever be helped, I need this...

The last autumn rain begins to fall, it feel so heavy
And my sister moon won't go out to play tonight
I'm on collision with every lament I ever cried
But the stars aren't twinkling...

Help me stand up straight
I feel jaded, I must be hopeless
It's getting late
I can't help but cry over this so often
Will I ever be helped, I need this...
I need this...

I guess I'm not meant to be happy...

Noah, you are a great writer, don't ever give up. We touch people even when we don't know that we do. Numbers are meaningless. Touching even one soul with beauty is worth the effort of writing. You have touched mine many times. (((HUGS)))

Your beautiful visions always touch everyone, Noah. This poem is no exception. Very well done.

Oh, dear poet, for so long I have written things that no one reads, or even knows that I have done. If it makes YOU feel good, that is all that counts. But, please share more with us. Take heart. Chris

Oh, this is just so melancholy, and sadly I relate to your words...I feel this way from time to time.

Noah, please don't leave, it would be a great loss to passions...you are a talented writer and a darn sweet replier!    You are very much appreciated! ~Hugs~

Take care,

I would be so happy if you would stay and if you would write... always!!! I'm slow and terribly behind but I would still look for you! You still shine

Regina

Oh, dear Noah ... if I had a nickle for every time I've felt this way ... sigh. You've captured this feeling of sorrow well, and touched a piece of me this morning with your words. Thank you.

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit

Noah, people read but sometimes they don't respond because they don't spend alot of time in PIP. Is not quantity but quality that counts. When I post I never expect much responces, and I appreciate even one. You are a great writer poet, keep writing, we have to.Thanks for your poetry.

Noah,
I agree with walker...sometimes we read and don't respond cause we don't always have the time...you are wonderful poet, don't ever stop writing and PLEASE don't leave passions! Your words touch all of us a special way (sigh) I would be sad if you left! (huggglllesss!) don't leave, smile to know that you are loved here   I do believe we have all felt this way one time or another

Hey Noah ... you can't leave. I just got here and need you to show me the ropes. It may take sometime but I promise to be fair in my replies. You have much to offer wherever you choose to shine ... it would be great to follow your light here. Please stay and show me around?
