From Sleep till Wake

In sleep to wake I watch the dawn
Till silk greens grass the mist of mourn.
Till sun spills light of golden cream
Undressing night and dreamers dream.

Glory marches across the field
Collecting dew for heavens yield.
And I am lost in ghostly light
Within the awe that changed the night

I weep in silence close my eyes
And hear the waling of my sighs
The air stays still and salved my will
Until my sighing heart stands still

I feel her hand embrace my cheek
And down my face leak tears of weak
While phantom odors fill my wile
And cast my face in nubile smile.

I gate before her spirits light
And wait the coming of the night.
To stroke the feathers of my dove
To feel the essence of her love

And sigh my humble prayer to God
To lie with her neath goldenrods
To sail with her eternals sea
And fuse with her as one to be.

*sigh* such love flows from your pen drawing your reader into a world filled with magic. The tender weeping of your eyes touches the heart of the one you love showing her the true man whose heart holds her so dear. *sigh* I love this poem. It brought tears to my eyes to read the love you have for your lady. Magnificent.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

To wake up like this......I'd be afraid I'd died and gone to heaven. This poem in its entirety is so very close to what I believe to be the gates. Resplendent Sy!

Sincerely,
Regina

I can't think of any words that would do justice to this poem. This is incredibly beautiful.
