Gift Of Pen~ ~*Marge Tindal*~  It is a blessing to me the ink within my well A special gift of thoughts that swiftly begin to tell of places I have been or merely hope to go Of friends I've met and have yet to meet along life's wandering road A carousel of wishing well to throw my pennies in Hoping they will land 'heads up' in the heart of a friend A star to light the night in glow of soft sweet smile Bringing more than wishes when lit in the eyes of child A word to lift a heart when that's all it takes A hand held out in friendship offering a friendly shake I've traveled this world over been most everywhere home has always been the place that is most dear So upon this birth-of-day I just want to say once more the friendships here at Passions'home are more than I could hope for~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
