Light cascades down the window pane twinkling an eye of a gleeful child History, unknown witnessed alone Seared his eyes by images of flames Remain unflinching "Get away from the window" mother screams holds him close to her chest as he's whisked away eyes full of wonder "What happened?" crying, all she can mutter "Someone's blown up the towers." Passion fuels my love |

The legacy our children will have to bear is one that will [again] be infamous... patience will become the key word when teaching, right, wrong, and the reason why we must reach further to understand more.... Well done, Sir. |

HardKore~ Vivid imagery that will play in the minds of so many for so long~ You touched that tender need of a mother to protect her child in this one~ Thank you for sharing~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
