I don’t see you, locked away so tightly, Behind the bolts and bars of steel bindings, That you hide behind being scared nightly, Deep within the solid skin of buildings. I don’t hear you, the radio’s silent Quiet you listen to other’s foot falls, Solitary style your life is thus spent, Sealed safely behind those protecting walls. I don’t know you, because you never go, At least not when I’m here able to see, Could you be someone I would like to know, But while protected it will never be. So never met and never known we stay You hiding from the night and me the day. Gloom |

Ah Professor, this is indeed a lovely write. Funny the way people hide themselves behind walls either figuratively or literally. I guess everyone is guilty of this to some degree or another If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

Well written. I agree we all are hiding from something........ Heather (CherokeeGirl) Without the experiance of love where would we be? We would have no memories to cherish. |

Thank you, Tracey, I must admit I am one of those people, That hide from the world, in the shadows. Pleased that you liked. Thank you, Heather Miller, I am glad the form pleased you. Thank you, Zinsser, Fear is just one of the things that stop people, Another is neglect of recognition. Gloom |
