FACE TO FACE

Part of not knowing
Instinctively showing
Where your past & present will protect you
until your heart comes to guide you

& nature has set its course
Once again the butterflies return
to the chilled streams upon these veins
from which my connection with you unfolds

You can fly so high
without a safety net
It's how others will always see you
I prefer to look beyond all that.

For I feel Iv'e tasted that side
where insecurity, beauty & fear can hide
I step naked into that place
to stand with you face to face...

Justin~ What a lovely first post! It's a beautiful moment when you can let down your guard and share yourself completely with someone...even more beautiful is when they do it back. Mark was right to convince you to show us your work
