As slumbering skies meet high in the heaven In mystic puffs of firmament vast The sea winds blow into the mouth of trumpets The slow, low key of Ever last Stored into a priceless vessel Sealed with a kiss of precious hope Heaved up into the main of nirvana We drift into the astral kaleidoscope Here we bob and nod in amazing motion To sink and swoon the ebb of milkyways Our reflection cast as prized and shining A suspended treasure, glass encased As if a thief would steal its glory In the tail of a comet moon burst Yea, though it bring the highest ransom The message is rarely understood In this our bending light weave stance Our glance is limited by our own perception We are to turn thus, round and round In immortal shift of deception’s lesson For if our eyes could see the heart Of the one who cast us freely afloat He wades the tides of light years, longing For his message to return to him whole |

Regina, this is a very unusual well-written piece. The imagery is superb and the phrasing absolutely original for the theme! I love it! |

To highlight one line above another, surely would be a blunder...elegant, passionate, and compelling. Greatly enjoyed! Willie B |

One only has to look a little bit deeper, all all could be so clear. This poem was a fantastic read Regina, and into the library it went. Excellent writing. ~I always have time to listen to someone talking from their heart~ |

Another lovely, haunting piece from your pen Regina. That last verse really moved me For if our eyes could see the heart Of the one who cast us freely afloat He wades the tides of light years, longing For his message to return to him whole Beautiful thoughts. If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |
