Never has he bought her a diamond ring He has always bought her fishing poles Now, their lives are so full of holes If he ever did, it would have made her sing With her he acts like he is the king He doesn’t even bring her a rose He always just keeps her on her toes And makes her do everything All he ever did was call her names And always made her feel so bad She never wanted to play his games Cause it always made her feel so sad She’s still waiting for him to bring Her just one diamond ring. ©By Sue 8/23/01 |

Enjoyed the read! I have the diamond ring, but I would rather have the rose. Now, that is. ~hugs~ smiles ~Marie~ |
