What The Heck's A Clerihew ?

Soft of song our Balladeer
Tell of tale so very clear
Writ of wit on pages blue
Without his stories, what would we do ?

A man of wisdom, that Seymour Tabin
Gives us all a look within
Fancy tales of Randy dragon
Breathing fire with tail a'draggin' !

Mighty hidey muse of JanetMarie
Keeps her in a search of thee
Very often she does inquire
Suppose that muse is in retire ?

Take a look at vlraynes' rhymes
Goes by Vicky most of the time
Can compose a challenging rictameter
Look for her - bet ya' can't beat her !

Then there's the wizard, Ron Carnell
Ah, you all know him very well
You can find him in the center
Of all the action at the printer !

Just a piece of PoetdeVine
When she scribes her verse so fine
Jumps right on the pages blue
With a rhyme, or maybe two !

You'll find NaniNess out in the car
She tries to pass off as a Jaguar
Yes, we all know it's really pretty
But I hear Long John is after that kitty !

Elizabeth Santos on the passenger side
Figured she'd go along for the ride
Knuckles white in sheerest fright
Nan signaled left ... turned right !

She sells SEA~ rhymes down at the shore
Then we all come back for more
Knowing that with all her wit
She will make a go of it !

Could not leave out our own dear Kit
Who always makes a poetic hit
Perfectly metered, well-thought rhyme
She simply does it every time !

On the sidelines, Dr.Moose1
Having just a peck of fun
Hanging out now in Open #15
Lord, that poet makes laughter scream !

Now if it should happen that SirCam
Shows up in your virus scan
Just be sure to DELETE him quick
I hear he's such a little (well, you know)

If you find these Clerihew's fun
Go ahead and write just one
To the Workshop Forum you should go
Get the lesson and go with the flow !

Couldn't find the teacher with the golden rule
Come on back when she gives you the key

You know that I find it sweet
That you'd share your special treat !

A ray of Sunshine behind each cloud
Peeking out when allowed
Karilea in frolicking rhyme
In Clerihew she's doing time !

Along the path strewn in Martie treats
Unique the treasures beneath her feet
Oh yes, my dear - it's quite outrageous
The Clerihew is quite contagious !

Into the ring jumps Balladeer
Tag-team mate keeps Margie near
I think it's very safe to say
We'd make a good match any day !
