The Rainbow. ~~Daniel J D~~ Hidden from view for some time The butterflies stopped searching The flowers held back their beauty And the sounds of birds lessened The tears ran freely, as pain took over A rainbow had vanished, in the never never The nights filled with sorrow and despair Two friends so close and yet so far Neither knowing where the rainbow had gone I gathered all the colours to paint But weakness was stronger, as I struggled I needed to bring back that rainbow For life without a rainbow's arc is sad It took a lot of work, and still more To bring the rainbow back to life I realised I needed help to match the colours And she came along to lend me a hand We brought back the rainbow to brighten the horizon Light up the sky, as the flowers welcomed the butterflies And the songs of all birds filled the emptiness Out there someone else also lent a hand The tears had to stop flowing Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |

it's a wonderful feeling to see the rainbow come into view again, these words truly spoke to my heart this morning. " I walked beside the evening sea And dreamed a dream that could not be" George William Curtis" |
