It's surface scratched , percieved as flawed the piece is set aside . The hand which shaped it's contours has begun to work a-new. It sets apart now seen as if across a great divide there can be no connection to the things which we value . Though cut of same material it has been deemed un-fit , to feature front row center in a shiney perfect world . Discarded to one side , alone , un-noticed , none see it, or how with age the luster of it's makers' hand un-furls . Beneath the dust which hides from view a one-time work of art , that none may ever duplicate , a piece that's so unique . The miracle which makes each one quite different from the start , has now re-valued yet another work as an antique . The sad part is too often on this planet we call Earth , we're too concerned with flaws to see an objects' real worth . |

So true! So much in both objects and human essence are cast aside. We don't look beyond the surface. I enjoyed your verse! Sincerely, Rwood |
