When Angels Touch

Sometimes angels fly around
with not a lot to do
Looking for a needing soul
who may look a lot like you

Our wings begin to flutter
when we find a place to light
In a heart that just may need us
on this very night

We care not that at first
you don't recognize our need
For us to do our magic
we've only to see you through, indeed

Consistently we hover
about your heart to show
That we think you are worthy
of the love we gently bestow

Suddenly the light dawns brighter
than anything you've ever seen
Because you finally see the you
that we've always seen

Always there to hold you
You have given us new wings
For we can only hope
to hear the song your heart sings

So we smile in knowing
that you have let us in
Welcome, Lisann
to the heart of a friend
