his shy Virgo smile
reflects the feelings that
have been there from
that start of their love
feelings that they danced around
and tried to hold back
from when they first shared
their words

they’ve always heard
each other’s hearts
they’ve always known
each other’s love
finding that love
that was always there
yet not daring to believe
that they would ever
hold it for long
