inexpensive therapy potters have their clay and wheel painters have their brush and pots architects their stone and steel all to feed their daily lots inexpensive therapy is but in our hands and mind on our paper from our pen we muse then write our unwind there’s no splatter of red paint no clay from the wheel to fling no stepping over stone or steel but what joy these words shall bring paper comes from everywhere many are my pencils, pens then the muses, they do find some willing fingers just for them my muse is quietly persuasive bringing thoughts of love and mirth giving wing to my high spirits finding keys of pleasure’s worth she doesn’t charge me any rent although moody at times she be most often she is heaven bent framing my face in tranquility no matter what comes to mind, she whispers soft words of hope she and I spend lovely time allowing peaceful ways to cope so my inexpensive therapy is my muse who sings with me |

I'm jealous! So true, how thankful I am for a writing place, sometimes I have to search when it hits. Like old receipts, or my hand, but You..have a wonderful muse! Enchanting. Sincerely, Rwood |

I enjoyed this. Though I have to say, sometimes my muse can be a real demon. |

Yes, a muse can be quite amusing. I wrote a poem about my muse that I will share with you in a later post. I enjoyed this very much.... to your amazing muse. ((~.~)) |

The trial of this arts labor is in molding it to last. Rewarding? Yes. Theraputic? Very. But compared to other forms of art to build written words which stand the test of time, wow! Enjoyed "Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve" |

This is great...and so true. Maybe I should be paying myself $75 an hour when I write. Wonder if I could get insurance to cover it? |

Karilea, My pen and brush are therapy. When one doesn't speak, the other will. I enjoyed this and yes, writing does help soothe. Michael Michael Auguste~ |

This is wonderful. Sometimes I think I would get some satisfaction from paint splattering, but since it would only amount to splatters..well we stick to writing. This is great though, very true form of therapy, and many other things. Sandra |

You a-mused-me with this one, as my muse is playing hard to get and is on a vacation or something, but I am so tired she will have to tell someone who cares! lol! This was so true Karilea, and yes, this is "the most spectacular therapy" going! Liked this one, and I will dangle it in front of my muse and show her how I need her right now, thanks, now off to bed. Maybe, just maybe, your a-musing poem will wake up my muse? ~ Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance ~And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance ~ I hope you dance. Ah Karilea ... so true, so very true indeed. You've captured this beautifully. I've been in this wonderful therapy for 30 years ... think of all the money I've saved! I really enjoyed these wonderful sentiments, very nicely done! Best wishes, /Kit |
