DESIRE So gentle when first seen upon the page Such tenderness expressed within the heart Script written with love so easy to gauge His deep emotions are expressed through art Just humble thoughts from a man among men That he may share the feelings from his soul With talent that flows from heart into pen The notice of a questing gaze he stole Hot passion building like a swelling wave It feeds the hunger growing deep inside Now searching weekly for a poem I crave While weeping lonely tears, nightly, I cried My body burns with fires of unknown need As arms reach across the miles with my plead Karen Torbiak 2001© |
