Hey You, Swimming in My Moat! |

Hey you swimming in my moat! Don't you know this is private property??? What do you think this is-- a fancy theme park or something like that??? No, this is My Life I've worked on for so many years-- it's not just for anyone to come along and take advantage of my dilligent efforts! Don't let the castle fool you 'tis mainly a facade-- a superficial structure to help me distance myself from others who might intrude or who might subject me to insult or ridicule. It is also a bolster to my own self-esteem which may suffer more than is apparent and sometimes pales into disturbing insignificance. Now if you had let me know you wanted to somewhat share externally in my life I might have let down the drawbridge (For superficial acquaintances it makes an excellent diving platform.) For those who only want to frolick in my shallow depths not really wanting to know me in a rock and mortar kind of way-- I do allow for some peripheral pleasures which afford slight amusement all around but which leaves my solid fortress undisturbed and undefiled. But my palace court is reserved for Special Courtesans of My choosing those in whom I trust and delight who bring to me an inward treasure of their own which helps enrich me in vicarious ways without vacating my castle broadening my own estate. Hey you, swimming in my moat on second thought swim a little longer I'll just watch you here from my cosy parrapet as I pass my time in regal retreat and splendour. This is funny, but at the same time has depth. It was enjoyable to read. Betty Lou Hebert |

Hey You, This is so great! It leaves me to imagine how everyone will look if we picture them as a building of sorts. Whereas you are a castle...and your decription is so genuine w/ the moat, your space to reflect upon. I think I would be....an English cottage. HA! With some beautiful gardens to stoll through mixed with a few thorns and brambles. And probably a leaky roof since many things come raining down on me Thank you for inspiring such a reflection and fun self examination. Thanks for letting down the proverbial drawbridge ei: E-mail! Great Write! Your Friend, Regina |

If you would get rid of those gators in your moot maybe you wouldn't lose so many guests. Call JanetMarie, I bet she could help. Castles are old creaky and a bit scary, you don't look like that to me. |
