I’ve been having thoughts lately I need to feel your saving grace And once more look upon that holy place You say we’ve been there before And you know the emotions I’m feeling As you take me in hands of healing Loneliness can be such a reward For misery suffered one too many times Oh, how your love can be such a crime Allow me this one brief rest From the hell in which I dwell Weave about me the darkest magic spell Reach out to me, I’ll fall into you Offer me arms unfolded again Like the night unto the day, I will give in |

I need to feel your saving grace And once more look upon that holy place ================= As you take me in hands of healing Loneliness can be such a reward For misery suffered one too many times Oh, how your love can be such a crime Allow me this one brief rest From the hell in which I dwell Weave about me the darkest magic spell Reach out to me, I’ll fall into you Offer me arms unfolded again Like the night unto the day, I will give in ============================== this has always been one of my favs of yours... a perfect example of "classic" PK poetry... the depth of emotion with the bittersweet conflict that youre so good at expressing, the imagery and poetic phrasing and the always divine rhyme flow. All written with your gift of making the reader feel the intended emote. excellent write poet sir so glad I stopped in for lunch *L* jm |
