The whispering breeze is gone from me, not to be found, nor even to be. Never again to be the same, no longer there to call my name. Once it blew its gentle breath, now gone away to a certain death. Hills of green seem dry and bitter, sparkling creeks lost their glitter. The path ahead turned rocky and steep, land itself not even worth the keep. The moon is hidden behind a dark cloud, warmth of sun flees timid and cowed. How I wish to hear once again, a whispered name upon the wind. The breeze to curl around my face, one that will linger with saving grace. Rise up o’wind and ever blow, to come back to me with whisper slow. --------------------------------------------------No probs..gentle smile..Vikings brood once in a while |

There is such a sense of loss in this poem...I'll blow a hug your way okay? It's not a whispered name, but it doesn't hurt! This was such a beautiful write...I never knew sadness could be beautiful. But I have learned that here at Passions from talented poets such as yourself. Hugs, ~Krista |

Warrior dear I am your wind, Cast across your cheek, A whisper seeking a friend. For when your mood casts you down, Here I am to bend your frown. Settle here and have a drink, Let us upon, some smiles, think. Look inside to see your heart, The moon does glow in every part. From the glint of your gentle smile, Travels a love no brood could defile. Take the hand now offered here, Of A Princess who holds you dear. Of course you know I had to respond. Forgive my rough rhyme, but its all in the message, Sweet One! |

We need not always feel we have to write "happy",poetry has many moods...we write to release emotions and heal... release into the wind and gentle breezes will carry you... (something you would tell us, Im sure) (see we're learning from you) peace and poetry jm When your own emptiness is all thats getting through |

pure agony to lose all sense of emotion, but then could agony be felt, numbness, how could one describe it better than you have here it would surely be agony and despair but how could one sense without air may the breeze whisper your name again soon |

Logan if I did not know better, I would say you were a little depressed. You gave it a very good description. Glad it's just brooding. I do that a lot, too. Hugs Sandra |

Logan, I suggest renting the movie "Office Space" to quickly change the mood and perspective. If you've ever, even for a brief moment in time, found yourself in an office environment, you will guffaw at this comedy... (just a suggestion) :-) But I did enjoy the flowing, somber emotion of your poem. I've seen through those eyes more than on one occasion... -MVS "When you tell the Truth, you never have to remember what you just said." |
