I wake during the darkness, you are by my side,
    a kiss melts, desire beckons me, breathless,
        tender into the warm summer’s night,
            as a fire burns, to know your closeness…

You I have known in dreams, now they are true,
    with a taste of tenderness, knowing,
        for when I’m touched, my being is
            seduced, and you become addicting…

Sweet is the passion of both,
    tight is this embrace, hearts together,
        melting, forever caring, as one,
            not to part, for another…

Sighs are deep, whispers of rapture,
    lips are parted, so alluring, and seductive delight,
        enticing high this ecstasy of two,
            through the night…
                         ~~~~

RMW - thank you for your words, they do mean a lot to me. I have also turned this one into a favorite song...

MARK - ah, love is in the air, and it does feel so very good... And thank you for coming by once again to read one of mine...

Interloper - the music that I wrote for this one is even more passionate, and I hope to continue writing even from the grave, if I can... Thanks for the kindness...

vlraynes - thank you for the lovely reply, as they inspire me to keep writing.

Marge Tindal - I'll be back in a jiffy. Just been so darn busy writing poems and then putting some of them to music. I need to quit work, as it's getting in the way of my free time.
