unheard, But felt, it slips like early rays between half closed blinds making light of midnights promise Grasping for the edges I wrap them around me trying to ward off the chill of knowing |

Very well written, It intrigues me to look beyond the words. Do not fear going forward slowly, |

Ah to hide in dreams and the peace of sleep's release. Few words, large effect. "Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve" |

it slips like early rays between half closed blinds making light of midnights promise ...what a cool stanza! I love the play on words with "light". I also love the cold/ironic/bizzare imagery of wrapping BLINDS around one's self to keep warm! What an image of taking pieces of plastic and aluminum to use as a blanket! And "the chill of knowing"... in itself a very potent phrase! Dense and powerful, Ron! -MVS "When you tell the Truth, you never have to remember what you just said." |

This strikes me as a quite insightful look at a strong feeling of regret, and perhaps a hint of something else... betrayal? Ted |
