(Now that I've posted most of my older poetry and lyrics, I'm ready to dive into some fresh writing and thoughts. Since my style tends to be lengthy and very strict form and rhyme, I'm going to try something a little different for me: a new series of poems that I'll call "TWENTY OR LESS..." implying that each will consist of twenty or less words, in free-form style, with the intent of letting the words conjure up subjective impressions and definitions for my readers -- let the previous boundaries of style and form evaporate, for a while, and let's see what your impressions are... Enjoy! -MVS) ======================================== Her sweeping beauty Beckons desire Love knowingly mocks her His struggle is her will This man is beneath her (Copyright 2001 by: MARK V SHELDON) "When you tell the Truth, you never have to remember what you just said." |

And how many ways of interpretation will this take? Several, I believe, and I myself will appreciate them all... well done, Mark! |

Hm, I like the image it produces for me. Though I suspect thats not the entirely correct thought for this. I see strength to be who you want to be, and to fulfill your life thusly. Sandra |

My Lady: the more you polish--the more it shines! Ron -- every layer has its purpose as does the peeling of each one... Sandra... there is no "correct" -- there is only a reflection of self at a specific moment in time. I like your reflection. -MVS "When you tell the Truth, you never have to remember what you just said." |
