Silence Falls Silence falls as misting rain, unheard, the night begins its spell and I the shadow keeper, it is within the dark I dwell. You may keep the garish sun, the tans and all that go with it, the cancer causing side effects. It is beneath the stars I sit. My view is of eternity, while yours is hidden in the clouds. I sit alone and rest in peace. Your peace is that of daily crowds. Sing loud the voices of the night and raise a chorus to be heard. I wear a cloak of sprinkled stars, as I pen this solemn word. I too feel protection in the night and know no fear there. Enjoyed. |

Michael, I too am a night person. Quiet and peaceful... gives me quiet time to think and write. I enjoyed TaraB |

Michael: "I wear a cloak of sprinkled stars," What a lovely thought, above..and the night holds its own sort of beauty, as does this poem. |
