Within the rain, a secret power thus hide
With eyes closed and hands at your side
Feel the coolness slide down your cheek
With lips closed, do not speak
The cleansing smell fills the soul
Serenity meaning the ultimate goal
Our love grows strong
As the showers linger long
Your lips on mine
Drops tickle the spine
Nature's sensuous gift
Our spirits uplift
Amidst sprinkles, feelings expressed
My undying love to you confessed
Upon the grass we're lain
Knowing it's the power of the rain

With my pen I shall create,
With my mind I shall explore,
With my strength I shall endure,
With my poetry I shall have legacy.
