My thread surges with the flow of your words;
The rush by which I am taken is derived
From the meticulously thunderous heat in your eyes.
I walked down this street today,
Wondering how the tide rises,
But you were not in view when I turned to ask...
I tried to access you with an intent gaze,
But the distance just impaired its direction.

The greater the space between us...
