Groamth the One When Sir Guiness pulled his blade from out of Groamth’s eye, across all Lower Terra we heard that fear invoking cry. And when echoes finally rolled outward into silence, peasants from the nearby towns gathered and said hence: “Sir Guiness, the Dragon-Slayer, has saved our ravaged lands! He fought Old Groamth steel to tooth and savage claws to hands. Will you, Sir, protect us from the beasts that may come still? We’ll build for you a mighty castle upon our highest hill.” And as the boastful knight from North elaborated on his deeds, the simple people in awe were swayed (like wind blowing thru the reeds). But down-range twenty fathoms in the grey, cold mountain air, Groamth the Second held Sir Guiness in his solid, icy glare... to be continued. Beware Sir Guiness, the Dragon is out to get you....again. hehe Very awesome! It's good to see a good old fashioned Ballad! You can't wake a person who is pretending to be asleep. -- Navajo Proverb |
